“Report to BGB” App’s goal is to assist the BGB to reduce border crimes through a betterinformed citizenry. It is essential to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding unlawful activities. This solution provides a user with crime map linked to many crime sources around the border area of the country. This Mobile application intends on helping BGB take necessary actions against any unlawful incidents relevant to border areas of the country. Preservation of individual privacy is of utmost importance to BGB. To better protect user privacy, this notice explains BGB policy within this area. By installing, using or otherwise accessing the App, any user agrees to this Privacy Policy accordingly. By using this Application, the user is consenting to BGB’s processing of user provided information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by BGB:

 User can coordinate with the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) by reporting border related nearby crime details and information anonymously. Anonymous Information does not, by itself, permit the identification of individual persons. 

 BGB does not collect any personal data from Report toBGB app users. The users can use the app anonymously and without any kind of registration. 

 The information provided by users is exclusively for the purpose of providing service to the community. The information from the app is visible only to the concerned BGB higher officials. 

 As an anonymous and unregistered user, the communication between user and the app is confidential and the authorized officials will not publish the information to the public interface of the app. 

 BGB’s Report to BGB app does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer information from the app to any third party entity. 

 BGB does not affiliate with any third-party products or services through Report to BGB app. 

 This app uses phone camera only when user wants to capture a photo, to attach with the post. The app does not use user’s device inputs automatically without user’s consent. 

 Upon reporting a crime the app collects information about precise location of the submitted report using methods that include GPS, wireless networks, cell towers, Wi-Fi access points and other sensors. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. BGB will notify of any changes to its Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. Border Guard Bangladesh are under no obligation to personally inform users regarding the change in the Privacy Policy. Users are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
